Cherry Blossom Festival: Painting Trees in Watercolour

Join us for an afternoon of meditative painting in collaboration with the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. In this gathering we will celebrate the arrival of the cherry blossoms, practice the art of noticing and explore watercolour painting to tune into the present moment.

Participants will be introduced to the rich history of the trees here on the ancestral village site Sen̓áḵw (Vanier Park) as they experience some guided painting and be invited to reflect on their own individual relationships with trees in the urban landscape and beyond.

Beginner watercolourists and seasoned painters are welcome!
